A video of Russell Westbrook yelling at a fan during Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz game on March 11 has gone viral.

Amy Lieu is a news editor and reporter for Fox News. It was unclear what prompted the exchange.

Five Jazz fans were reportedly given "warning cards" for their inappropriate actions during the dispute.

The Jazz's statement said the ban is "based on excessive and derogatory verbal abuse directed at a player during the game that violated the NBA's Code of Conduct". Woodyard adds that the fans were able to return to their seats following the altercation.

"I promise you", Westbrook said to the fan. To me, I think it's racial. But there's a fine line when you go to the disrespectful side on 'am I cheering my teammates on, am I heckling the opposing guy, or am I crossing the line?' There's a fine line - where there's not a fine line, that line is very bold. I'll f-- you up. 'I'll f*ck you up.

"No, f-- that! F-- that!"

Westbrook was unapologetic for the exchange. "I love our fans but there are limits that cannot be crossed!"

"I know you guys only got the tail end of the video, but the start of the video is way more important and way more disrespectful than what you guys heard", Westbrook said.

Westbrook was wearing large heating packs - which resembled ice packs - on his legs. Westbrook said Keisel told him to, "Get down on your knees like you're used to".

Monday was far from the first time Westbrook has been harassed, or even touched, by fans on the court.

Despite Keisel denying that he and his hurled racially charged insults at Westbrook, the MVP sticks by his story, and his message.

Shane Keisel (inset) has been banned for life by the Utah Jazz after owners say he verbally attacked Oklahoma City player Russell Westbrook.

The NBA's worst incident between players and fans took place during a 2004 brawl between Indiana Pacers players and Detroit Piston spectators which resulted in nine players being suspended. "And there are people that come to the game to say mean, disrespectful things about me, my family".

"Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy and play the game in a safe, positive and inclusive environment", Steve Starks, president of the Jazz, said in a statement. For me, I'm just not going to take the disrespect for my family.

According to Bleacher Report, the incident occurred during Monday's game between the Thunder and Jazz.

"I stand 100% with Russell Westbrook on what happened in yesterday's game", Sefolosha shared on Instagram.

"I think it's something that needs to be brought up", he continued in April. I'm exhausted of just going out and playing and letting fans say what the hell they want to say.
