A cat's normal internal body temperature is 101 degrees.

Staff warmed the cat using towels, cage warmers and intravenous fluids.

A cat has miraculously survived after she was completely frozen in the snow.

Fluffy's survival comes after a family had a freaky Friday 13th encounter with a "zombie cat".

Unresponsive, with ice matted to her fur, Fluffy's owners prayed for a miracle as they carried their beloved pet into the Animal Clinic of Kalispell.

The injured cat, named Fluffy, was found on January 31 and brought to Animal Clinic of Kalispell veterinarian Dr. Jevon Clark, KTMF reported.

Veterinarians in Montana said they were able to save a cat found frozen in the snow with a temperature too low for thermometers to read.

"She's crouched down looking like she's hunting something or something's in the snow bank", Clark said. After a few more hours, Fluffy finally began to show signs of recovery. They scooped her up and immediately drove her to the vet, which is probably what saved her life.

A vet says Fluffy's body temperature was so low - it was hard to get an IV into her.

Fluffy reportedly had been living outside the house when new owners moved in within the last couple of years and adopted her.

Clark said Fluffy's owners plan to try to keep her inside for now. "We'll see if Fluffy likes that or Fluffy doesn't like that", Dr Clark said.

"Fluffy is wonderful", the post said.
