The Memphis Grizzlies have acquired Chicago Bulls guard Justin Holiday for two players and two future second-round draft picks, the teams announced Thursday night.

Chicago realized this and sent him to a reeling Memphis team for the same players the Grizzlies meant to send in the botched Kelly Oubre Jr. trade that created Brooks-gate. What's more is Holiday has started all 38 games for the Bulls to this point in the 2018-2019 regular season. He is averaging 11.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in a career-high 34.9 minutes per game, and he recently set a franchise record by sinking at least one 3-pointer in 43 straight games.

Selden will be available for Sunday's game against the Nets, Cody Westerlund of 670 The Score reports.

This season, Selden made 32 appearances with the Grizzlies. "Hopefully Wayne can help us shore down that wing defender position as well".

Payne, 24, was drafted 14th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2015 and was traded to the Bulls last February.

Hutchison talked about how everything he has been through this year has been a surprise but credited Justin Holiday with helping him prepare for the National Basketball Association.

Chicago traded its 2019 second-round pick to the Lakers in July 2016 in the Jose Calderon deal that freed up salary-cap space to sign Dwyane Wade. The Bulls will hold two second-round picks in 2020. After missing much of that season due to a broken bone in his foot, Payne has never been able to make good on the promise he showed at Murray State.
