  • Red Dead Online Beta: Launch Dates and New Details Announced

Rockstar has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 online will launch in beta tonight.

According to a report by The Verge, Red Dead Redemption 2's online will be available for Ultimate Edition owners earlier than others. Rockstar said they're looking to make Read Dead Online a dynamic and changing world that builds off of the narrative steps laid out by Red Dead Redemption's online mode.

Those who played the game on day one will join the fray on Wednesday, whereas those who played it within the first three days of release will be able to jump on the mode this Thursday. Rockstar has confirmed to Variety that Red Dead Online's official beta is launching this month, though the specific day you can get in will vary depending on how recently you've played the game.

Red Dead Online will feature cooperative and competitive gameplay options and a detailed, open world that can contain multiple players. Or will Rockstar base most of Red Dead's post-launch content around an online theme?
