  • Theresa May danced her way on stage at the Conservative Party conference

Her address comes after her former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson made a scathing speech yesterday calling on the United Kingdom government to "chuck Chequers" at the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham.

This time she flaunted her moves on stage as she arrived at the Conservative Party conference.

"There was absolutely no natural rhythm there whatsoever and it's nearly like she wasn't really dancing to the beat of her own tune".

Awkwardly pumping her arms in the air and spinning around, the British prime minister took a moment to poke fun at herself before starting her speech at the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham.

She also makes a joke about last year's address which saw parts of the backdrop fall away and an intruder hand her a P45 form.

She appealed for unity in her party, warning her critics that if they split over their "own visions of the ideal Brexit", they might not get it at all.

May appeared cheerful, showing her moves upon entering the stage to the beat of the 1970's classic.

Clips of the her "dad dancing" have already been the subject of a number of memes, while some users labelled the clip "cringeworthy".

Mamma Mia 2 came out a couple of months ago; maybe she hasn't been able to get the songs out of her head.
