  • The Galaxy Note 8 was Samsung's first flagship phone with dual rear cameras

Samsung has set August 9th for a new Galaxy device launch event with the unveiling set to happen in Brooklyn, New York.

A social media teaser suggests that Samsung will unveil the next Galaxy Note device with an improved pen.

Other rumors claim the Note 9 will come with a fingerprint scanner embedded underneath the display, but that feature seems less and less likely. Although it is expected that this presentation event of Galaxy Note 9 can also be followed on YouTube.

As for the invitation, Samsung shows off what appears to be an S Pen and it's button.

As for the specifications, there will remain nearly the same as Galaxy S9 and S9+.

Are you waiting for Samsung's best smartphone of 2018? Samsung is also said to deal with its Exynos 9820, yet that will be for the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus so we'll leave that for exchange at a later time.

With the latest Note 9 rumours doing rounds on various online platforms, it was about time Samsung offered some sort of verification. Just like the 2018 Galaxy J6, the new Galaxy J8 also comes with the Super AMOLED Infinity Display. Samsung just announced a new "Isocell Plus" camera sensor, which it says can "capture more light, significantly increasing light sensitivity and color fidelity".

One of the certainties this year is the arrival of Galaxy Note 9, although its actual date of the announcement had been a puzzle to many smartphone geeks. To recall, Galaxy Note 8 had a serial number SM-N950, for the Note 7 it was SM-N930, while the Note 5 was SM-N920.

The next big thing from Samsung is almost here. Samsung has used the "U" designator since the Galaxy S8 to identify models bound for the USA, which need FCC approval before they can launch to the public.

It will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SoC (China and United States market) or in-house Exynos 9810 processor for other global markets. The base variant of the Galaxy A6 with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage will now retail for Rs 19,990, down from the launch price of Rs 21,990.
