All-world basketball star LeBron James will become the newest member of the Los Angeles Lakers, his management group Klutch Sports Group announced Sunday.

LeBron James has signed a four-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. Originally signed by the Cavaliers in 2003, James, who grew up in Akron, left Cleveland in 2010 to join the Miami Heat and led them to four consecutive NBA Finals, winning in 2012 and 2013. He also won a championship in Cleveland.

Wojnarowski added that disgruntled San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard is still set on also donning the iconic purple and gold colors.

A lot of fans are shocked by the 33-year old's move to Los Angeles. The Sixers would then have to clear another $4.4 million from their roster to offer James a max deal. The All-Star is unhappy and spent much of the season injured but refused to even attend his team's play-off games from the sidelines.

Many have already wondered what the NBA Finals might look like without James taking on the Warriors every year. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The guard signed a one-year, $12 million deal to remain in L.A. Rich Paul represents both James and Caldwell-Pope.

How much cap space do the Los Angeles Lakers have to use during the 2018 National Basketball Association free agency period?

That comes despite rampant speculation that the four-time MVP would bolt his hometown team for a second time after opting out opt of the final year of his contract, which would have paid him $35.6 million in 2018-19.

"Welcome to the family @KingJames", Bryant said on Twitter. If the Lakers' young players develop quickly, this team will be interesting to watch, but they also could be contenders soon. In an Instagram story, James bid farewell to the franchise he re-joined four seasons ago.

James' camp and the Cavaliers' front office have maintained a dialogue since the season ended, sources said.

James averaged 27.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 9.1 assists and 1.4 steals and shot 54.2 percent from the field this past season.

After spending the first 15 years of his career in the Eastern Conference, James will take his talents out west as he bids to put an end to the Golden State Warriors' NBA dynasty.
