  • Teen Dies In NYC After Being Stabbed While Cops Watched

Another suspect, 19-year-old Kevin Alvarez, of the Bronx, was arrested Sunday on charges of murder, manslaughter, and gang assault.

Elvin Garcia is the eighth person arrested and charged in the death of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, according to New York Police Department (NYPD) officials. The group made its way up 183rd Street from the bodega to Saint Barnabus Hospital where Guzman-Feliz died before reaching the emergency room. Jose Muniz, Santiago Rodriguez, Joniki Martinez, Manuel Rivera, Jose Tavarez, and Danel Fernandez agreed to be transported to NY to face charges of homicide, manslaughter and assault in the fatal stabbing.

The men are reportedly from the Trinitarios gang and are believed to have killed the boy in "a case of mistaken identity over a sex tape".

Seven men are being held in connection with the brutal machete murder of Bronx teen Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz.

A horrifying video provided by the New York Post shows Trinitarios gang members dragging the teen from a bodega in the Bronx Wednesday night.

Guzman-Feliz was a member of the NYPD's Explorers program, a group for youths interested in a law enforcement career.

Grieving mother Leandra Feliz said, "I hope they go to the end and find all the people who were involved in this criminal case". A customer who was inside the bodega at the time is also seen motioning for the injured teen to leave, pointing him towards the door.

At a court hearing Tuesday afternoon, Jose Muniz, 21, Jose Tavarez, 21, Manuel Rivera, 18, Danel Fernandez, 21, Santiago Rodriguez, 24, and Joniki Martinez, 24, waived their right to contest extradition to New York City.

The killing of Guzman-Feliz has sparked outrage nationwide on social media, with the hashtag #JusticeForJunior being picked up around the country.

Bronx native Cardi B has even weighed on the incident and called out officers for being quick to "harass" residents, but not help. Four people connected to the attack were apprehended. "All I can say was that he was a good kid", said Genesis Collado-Feliz, Junior's sister. He was never going to give up on his dream of being an NYPD detective & WE'LL NEVER GIVE UP ON HIM.

Lala Anthony also shared a photo of herself visiting Guzman-Feliz's makeshift memorial Sunday, saying that "it's heartbreaking what happened to him".
